A strong community provides inspiration and inspiration builds a stronger community. Showcasing community strength and revealing sources of inspiration are the range of themes for our inaugural design competition, Philadelphia Design Awards (PDA). Our slogan, "Show some love!", says it all. From our first meeting in the summer of 2007, we set the scale of our goals based on interest in recognizing and showcasing the spectrum of regional talent and ultimately defining our field in the design community. We have received a large scope of entries that run the gamut of design. The culminating exhibition and catalog are proof of meeting these goals and hopfully they provide you with inspiration and pride in your community.
